The Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) Association of India has come into existence to address the critical need of reducing management of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) amongst children in India.
The CMAM Association seeks to provide a platform for a national discourse on the eradication of malnutrition by catalyzing the involvement of government and non-government stakeholders in India at all levels.
According to UNICEF, ‘Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) is the most extreme and visible form of undernutrition.’
We are working towards ending malnutrition. Together is a new beginning for a brighter tomorrow.
